Hello to everyone! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend - I know I did. My daughter totally enjoyed her birthday weekend. We woke up 1st thing Saturday morning and I exercised...then it was off to the nail shop to get pedicures.

After my daughter and I got our pedicures, we then went to go pick up her friend and headed off to do some shopping. First at a shopping area called Atlantic Station,

then to a mall called Lenox. I decided that it was easier for us to take the train to downtown so that we could grab some food. It was way too much traffic and I'm sure I would've never found a place to park. So I parked the car in the mall parking deck and we headed over to the train station (less than a block away) and got on the train to go to Hard Rock. When we got there,  the wait (at Hard Rock) was about 45 minutes; so we walked over to the Westin Hotel and had taken the express elevator (72nd floor) to the Sun Dial. It was awesome!

Daughter racing down the train station escalator - she's terrified of this thing!

Then the girls decided that after they'd finished eating, they wanted to see a movie (it was to start at 9:55 pm). We left Hard Rock around 8:35 pm - then had to hall butt to get to the train - then to the mall (Lenox) - to the car - to the Interstate - to home to take care of Levi - then to the movie theatre. We got to the movies at 9:55 pm. We actually made it!

All in all we had a pretty good weekend. And to top it all off - it was like 75 degrees on Saturday and sunny :-)

But now it's Monday...it was a cold day, and in some parts of Atlanta there was snow and sleet and rain....*sigh*

That's funny! Actually I was broke too...my daughter must think I make dollars - literally.

We went to go see Repo Man...very bad in my opinion. Just a dumb movie to me altogether.

I love Atlantic Station - and its nice and close to IKEA! I love Lennox too - they have a nice big Sephora in there!! Much more than Phipps, which I call the "looking only mall". Ok, I am clearly needed a visit to the ATL!

Repo man looked icky! Hope it wasn't too bad!

Sounds like you guys had an awesome day!!
