I know of some who dread crossing over to the 40 threshold, and others greet 40 with anticipation and excitement. Regardless of what you may feel, you'll more than likely do what everyone does at this juncture; take stock of your life. You'll have the questions...What have you done with your life? Are you the person you intended to be? Are you living the life you want?
The reality is that certain things may never happen at 40. While you cannot turn back time, turning 40, suggest something so exciting! The phrase 'turning' means you can turn into anything you want to be. You can turn on your passion, your greatness, turn the page, or turn the corner and move on!
No matter where you are in life, there are no rules where you should be. It really doesn't matter if you're happily married, single or divorced 10 times. It doesn't matter if you have too many children, enough or none at all. It doesn't matter if you are highly educated; college educated or barely finished high school. At 40, the doors are wide open and you can still do anything you want.
I know that I'm about to enter the most amazing time in my life. The past 40 years were all about preparation. Now... I'm credible and incredible.

Great post! I am almost there, just 2 more years! Personally, I am exactly where God wants me to be and I love it! Am I perfect? No. Is my life perfect? No. And guess what? I am finally ok with myself and my life. Looking forward to "Rockin" forty like you!! ;)
