My Banana Bread

So I normally have about 3 super ripe bananas ready when I make my banana bread. This day wasn't the case. It really doesn't matter, you can still make some really good banana bread with just two :-)

Ingredients needed:
  • 3 or 4 ripe bananas ( or just 2)
  • 1/3 cup melted butter (in my case the butter was more soft than melted)
  • 1 cup sugar (can easily reduce to 3/4 cup)
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • pinch of salt
  • 1 1/2 cups of all-purpose flour

Add the butter

Then add the sugar

Add the egg

Add the vanilla

Add the baking soda and salt

Add the flour last

An ingredient I didn't mention (add 2 tablespoons)

Add in your 4x8 greased pan

Add in your preheated oven of 350 degrees and bake for 1 hour

Cool on a rack. Slice and serve.

  3. I can smell it through the computer. I am trying to resist baking bread because the last time I did, I ate the entire loaf... alone.... in about two days.
