The Good, The Bad, The Ugly
I have to admit...there was a time when I really felt like quitting blogging. I just simply needed a break. But then, after some thought, I decided against it...for now. And, here's why...
Good: There are a lot of creative personal style bloggers out there. Each has their own style/taste that they bring to the plate. I've even met some these wonderful women who have become 'real life' friends that inspire me. And, lots of these women challenge me creatively. I'm grateful for that.
Bad: Blogging can be time consuming. Between blogging (thinking of an outfit to wear, putting it together, photographing it, editing, posting it, promoting, linking up), social media (Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram, Google+), and emailing, it totally sucks up your TIME. Because believe it or not, you're giving up something in order to blog. Simply put, blogging can be considered a sacrifice.
Ugly: Blogging so feels like a competition. I've said it before and I'll say it again. It's so easy to compare your blog to so and so's blog, feel left out or not included in some event, and wondering what your post lacked. But I've decided to focus more on my posts (just being me) for my readers. I can't worry about the next blogger's post. I blog because I feel like I have something to share with others and hopefully inspire them.
Continuing with Ugly: I've attended some events and met and observed some of the 'bigger' bloggers (by their follower numbers), and to my surprise, they weren't that social. Hell, some weren't really that nice. Some behaved in a way as if you should be on their coattails. Then I thought about myself. Questioned myself...am I unapproachable? Am I like them?
Even Uglier: My style. I'm going to keep it real. What you see me wearing on my posts, is me. I get emails from people asking why I blog because they feel as though my outfits aren't up to par. Well...MY blog is ME sharing with you MY personal style...my REAL personal style. I don't play dress up in some extravagant gown or dress; accessorizing it with some crown jewel. This is me people. I'm living on a budget. So if you thought my blog was to be like Karla's Closet, or FashionToast, shame on you.
Changes: I will now post when I feel like I'm able to, or when I'm inspired to do so. I more than likely will not bring back the 'link ups'. I'm continuing to design my blog to be simple, and easy to maneuver around. If I haven't blogged in awhile, I hope my readers decide to browse through other links on my blog (Feature Friday, Outfit links) instead of un-following.
It's funny because I'm sure someone will judge me for writing this post. However, writing it feels so liberating.

Goodbye November!
Well, November is gone...I can't say it was the best month for my family and I, but it wasn't the worst. I will say that I had a little more fun with my outfits in the month of November. More color...but always comfy.
Now...
Let the craziness begin!
December is the month where a lot of crazy memories are made. Think about it, you have all the shopping to do; in the stores with tons of people; no parking spaces; just pure chaos.
You may have tons of preparations and last minute things to do on Christmas Eve. Then there's Christmas Day.....sigh. So much...
